Moon Shadow has a great connection with Bodhi Tree – who have given us lots of support in setting up the shop and provided some beautiful fair trade stock from India.

We are good friends and have shared many adventures together. I’m grateful to now share the shop adventure as well and am thankful to Jolene at Bodhi Tree for all her advice and support.

At Moon Shadow, we also source stock from a variety of well known fair trade suppliers including Namaste, Shared Earth, Wicked Dragon Clothing and Zaytoun CIC.

We are keen to support local makers and creators who are just starting out. We know what it can be like making a living from creativity and are as supportive as possible to craftspeople of all kinds. If you are interested in supplying Moon Shadow, please get in touch.

Why Moon Shadow?

It was my mum who inspired me to call the shop ‘Moon Shadow’. She made me a mix tape when I was little with the song by Cat Stevens on it.

I love the message in the song about approaching life with a positive outlook, overcoming challenges and appreciating what we have. There have certainly been big challenges to overcome and difficult times to get through in 2023, but I always try to remember the moon shadow message and that’s what’s led to this great adventure I’m on now.
